Upcoming conference and training opportunity on climate change and forests

FAO is partnering with the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences to organize a four-day conference on adapting forest management to a changing climate, to be held 25-28 August 2008, in Umeå, Sweden.

A sponsored pre-conference training seminar on this topic is also offered by IUFRO for early and mid-career scientists from developing countries who are involved in forest and tree-related research.
