A workshop will discuss a possibility for the “certification" of forest contractors facing an increasing demand for environmental sound services. The meeting will be held in the European Forestry House as a part of the CeFCo project aiming at development of criteria and indicators for the certification of contractors in the frame of sustainable forest management. Contractor standards are to be elaborated as the core element of a future sub-standard in forest management certification. Additional meetings are foreseen.
