The PEFC workshop on social issues in forest management is organized in support of the ongoing revision of the PEFC Council requirements for forest management standards.

The workshop will gather specialists in the social issues, PEFC stakeholders as well as representatives of Working Group on the revision of PEFC requirements. Participants will focus on defining basic principles for social requirements in SFM as well as areas that would require additional work, negotiations and consensus building. The results will contribute to the standards revision process.

Morten Thoroe, CEPF Secretary General will present requirements for stakeholders consultation and stakeholder’s access to information.
