Confederation of Forest Owners from the Iberian Peninsula (CONFI)
The Confederation of Forest Owners from the Iberian Peninsula has been established jointly by Confederation of Spanish Forest Owners Organizations (COSE) and Forestry Association of Portugal (FORESTIS). The organization covers Iberian Peninsula region located in the farthest southwest of Europe.
CONFI promotes sustainable development through the active management, protection and cooperation in community and private forests. CONFI encourages initiatives for developing rural areas. Since 2010 CONFI has been a member of CEPF, which strengthens the understanding of issues related to the family forestry in South Western Europe.
