EUBA members have published a paper "How the Bioeconomy contributes to the European Green Deal" and a brochure "Best-practice case studies: EUBA members' contributions to the EU Bioeconomy Strategy and Green Agenda".

The Meeting of Directors General of Forests organised under the French Presidency of the EU Council took place on 17 – 18 May 2022 in Strasbourg. CEPF Secretary General Fanny-Pomme Langue participated to the meeting.

The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), is a new €2 billion public-private partnership between the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) building on the success of its predecessor BBI JU.

CEPF feedback focuses on how EU forests contribute to the deployment of a sustainable bioeconomy as well as to the need for coherence and synergies between the Bioeconomy Strategy and other EU policy developments, in particular the European Green Deal.

On 20 May 2020, ThinkForest webinar “Science Insights to the European Green Deal and Forests” brought together researchers, stakeholders, experts and NGOs to discuss the potential of the European forest-based sector to contribute to the Green Deal targets.

On 5 May 2020, CEPF, together with six organisations representing the European forestry sector, published a joint letter while the outbreak and spread of COVID-19 is having a significant impact on forests and forestry in a growing number of European regions.
