The Union of Foresters of Southern Europe (USSE), together with Hazi and Eusko Jaurlaritza Gobierno are organizing "What Forest Do We Want in Europe?" event, which will take place on 14 March 2024 in Kursaal Congress Center in San Sebastian, Spain.

Main topics of the event include, among other, climate resilience, forest firest and circular bioeconomy.

The event will bring together experts and political representatives responsible for forest policy from different regions/countries in Europe to discuss and debate the forest model desired for Europe, taking into account the specificities of each region or country as well as all recent European initiatives and legislation that directly or indirectly affect forests, and all this in the current complex context of climate crisis.

CEPF's Secretary General, Fanny Pomme Langue will speak at the above mentioned high-level event which will unite experts, industry leaders, and passionate young minds to discuss the pivotal role of youth in steering the bioeconomy towards a greener and more sustainable future. EU Bioeconomy Strategy will be a focal point of the discussions.
