The third annual stakeholder event of the EUFORE project took place on 15 October in Brussels. The project reached a key milestone with the launch of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

EU Nature and Forest Directors met in Copenhagen under the Danish Presidency to discuss nature restoration, coexistence with large carnivores, forest biodiversity, and afforestation. Field visits showcased Denmark’s Agreement on a Green Denmark and contributions to the EU’s 3 billion trees objective. CEPF took part in both meetings.

The Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU organised a meeting for EU Forest Directors and one for EU Nature Directors, in Warsaw. CEPF representatives took part in both meetings.

The final annual meeting of the HoliSoils project took place in Marseille 8-10 April where researches shared the most important findings of the five-year project.

The 2nd EUFORE European-level Stakeholder Workshop took place on 27 November in Brussels. The workshop presented research results of different work packages and discussed research priorities.

With an event in Utrecht, ESA launched a new Bioeconomy Task Force aiming to drive forward innovation and support businesses across the European bioeconomy.
