FOREST EUROPE has recently launched a Think Tank on Sustainable Forest Management and campaign called Grow Green Jobs.

On 14 December 2021, the Slovenian Association of Forest Owners organised a conference “Property rights in private forests in the light of EU forest-related policies” with a support of CEPF, Copa-Cogeca, ELO and Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia.

The European Commission published on 17 November 2021 a proposal for a Deforestation and Forest Degradation Regulation.

Between 31 October and 12 November 2021, around 200 world leaders and thousands of negotiators, businesses, and NGOs gathered at the 26th Conference of the Parties of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow to agree on international climate action.

CEPF delegation participated to the 8th FOREST EUROPE Ministerial Conference on 14 - 15 April 2021 and had the honour to present European forest owners’ views in one of the opening panel discussions and to be part of two joint statements.
