The second part IPCC's sixth climate report focusing on climate changes impacts, adaptation and vulnerability was published on 28 February 2022 and the third part with focus mitigation of climate change was released on 4 April 2022.

EC Press Release: Commission report: Europe's nature under threat as world suffers worst year on record for forest fires

According to the European Commission forest fire report 2019 was the worst-ever year for forest fires around the world in recent history. Over 400,000 hectares of Europe's natural land was burnt and a record high number of nature protection areas were affected by wildfires.
