On 17 May, CEPF Secretary General Fanny-Pomme Langue took part in the Stakeholders Dialogue on the New EU Bioeconomy Strategy, hosted by Commissioner Jessika Roswall. The high-level exchange brought together EU policymakers and key actors from across the bioeconomy value chain to inform the future direction of EU bioeconomy policy.

On 25 March 2025, CEPF met with Jessica Roswall, Commissioner for environment, water resilience and competitive and circular economy to exchange on EU forest-related policies at the beginning of the new EU political mandate.

With an event in Utrecht, ESA launched a new Bioeconomy Task Force aiming to drive forward innovation and support businesses across the European bioeconomy.

Representatives of European forest owners and managers, CEPF, EUSTAFOR and Copa-Cogeca, would like to share their views on the launch of the ESA Space for Bioeconomy Task Force.

European forest owners and managers see bioeconomy as a crucial component in the green transition of the European economy and in strengthening the strategic autonomy of the European Union. We therefore welcome the timely initiative of EU Member States to recognize and include sustainable bioeconomy to the work programme of the next European Commission.

On 14 March, Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič hosted a dialogue on forest-based bioeconomy. This dialogue was the 6th under the clean transition dialogue and gathered around 30 organisations.
