Two members of the team have embraced the opportunities to start new journeys in their lives and conquer new challenges. Ms. Susanna Kallio, the Office and Communication Manager and Ms. Marija Pohjala, the Policy Advisor left the CEPF in June 2023. 

The Secretariat is very grateful to Susanna and Maria for their excellent work and valuable contribution while working as part of the CEPF. The Team wishes them all the best for the future!

With their departure, the CEPF has simultaneously welcomed two new members, ensuring continuity in its efforts.

Ms. Dajana Kojic joined CEPF Team on 2 May 2023 and will be the new CEPF Office Manager. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, where she obtained a master's degree in law. Before coming to Belgium in 2019, she practiced law as an Attorney in Serbia. Prior to beginning her journey within the CEPF Team, Ms. Kojic worked as an Office Manager in a start-up company in Leuven.

In her new role, Dajana will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the organisation, including the areas of finance, administration, and communications. CEPF Team looks forward a fruitfully collaboration with its new member.

Mr. Dániel Komlós joined CEPF Team on 1 June 2023 as a new Policy Advisor. Daniel holds a BSc. degree in physical geography and Master degree in environmental resource management. He is experienced in sustainability policies on agriculture and the wider bioeconomy with personal preferences in forestry and forest-based sectors. Before joining CEPF, Dániel worked in agricultural policy in his home country, Hungary and at Brussels-based umbrella organisations where he gained experience in liaising with the EU Institutions, State representations and industry associations.

In his new role as a Policy Advisor, Dániel will cover EU forest-related policies around circular bioeconomy, climate change mitigation, and the EU Taxonomy. In a parallel capacity, he will support the Bureau of Nordic Family Forestry.
