CEPF feedback on the EC proposal for a Soil Monitoring and Resilience Directive

Soil is one of the fundamentals of forest management. European forest owners have at heart to manage and to maintain it. External factors, including changing climate, could significantly decrease possible positive results, so overall objective should fit uncertainty of results.

EU Forest and Nature Directors meeting in Spain

In September and October 2023, the Spanish Presidency of the Council organised a meeting for EU Nature Directors, in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, and one for the EU Forest Directors, in the Alcornocales Natural Park. CEPF representatives took part in both meetings.
