CEPF has a new Policy Advisor - welcome Maria Pohjala!

Maria Pohjala has started in CEPF as a Policy Advisor for climate, energy and bioeconomy policies in mid-September. She holds a master’s degree in Forest Sciences from the university of Helsinki and has been living in Brussels for four years.

Before her position for CEPF she worked as an EU-correspondent for the leading Finnish Agriculture and Forestry newspaper and as a Forest Communications Advisor for The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners.
