The event was organised in two parts: an afternoon working session and an evening reception.

In the afternoon, participants were split into small thematic groups in order to brainstorm and provide inputs to 9 questions gathered under 3 themes: 1) The forest as an ecological treasure and heritage for future generations; 2) Tomorrow’s forest: innovative forest management for a sustainable future; 3) Sharing the forest: pleasures, rights and responsibilities for a sustainable living together. All gathered inputs were summarised in a plenary session to which CEPF Secretary General Ms. Fanny-Pomme Langue contributed via a roundtable on forest transmission and how to transmit the interest and happiness of being a forest owner.

The evening reception took place in the presence of His Royal Highness Grand Duc Henri. The evening conference was opened by Mr. Hubert de Schorlemer, the President of Lëtzebuerger Privatbësch.

Mr. Xavier Bettel, the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, and Ms. Joëlle Welfring, the Minister of Environment, along with two Members of the Luxembourgish Parliament, delivered a speech in which they congratulated the association and emphasized the crucial role of forests in our society.

On the occasion of this important anniversary, a book “Lëtz reGenerate: The Heritage of 90 Years of Luxembourgish Private Forestry“, written by historian, scientist and expert in Sustainability, Mr. Salvatore Coppola Finegan was launched. Additionally, the association produced and presented a movie titled “Lëtz' regenerate”.

CEPF Secretariat takes this opportunity to once again congratulate Lëtzebuerger Privatbësch on its anniversary and express heartfelt appreciation to the President and his team for the successful event.
