The annual meeting gathered CEPF members from all over Europe and was hosted by CEPF’s Finnish member MTK – Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners. 5 June 2023 Updates Forest and Nature Directors Meetings under the Swedish presidency of the Council of the EU In May 2023, the Swedish Presidency of the Council organised a meeting for EU Forest Directors in Skellefteå and one for the EU Nature Directors in Färnebofjärden national park. 31 May 2023 Updates CEPF participated in the Thematic Group on Forest-Dominant Rural Areas & Municipalities In two meetings of the group, stakeholders discussed with the Commission how networking and collaboration can help resolve tensions and address the multiple needs facing forest-dominant rural areas.
